The Rat Dance
tutorial by: Aixin 2018This trend is based on a 3D-rendered animation of a low-poly rat dancing to various songs, originally known as the "Rat Dance Meme" on TikTok. In Gacha, creators would either use a provided template or edit the rat dance animation themselves in the same dancing motion as the rat model. Sometimes, creators would change the backgrounds behind the Gacha character after every beat in the song to make the video feel more alive and entertaining. The trend can be a great if you either wanna challenge yourself to make your own version of this dance animation or go really easy by simply using one of the many templates already provided by the community.

Mingle Game
example by: TomixityThis trend is based on the Netflix series, "Squid Game" where in the beginning would show the gacha character receiving the invitation to the squid games and later on shows them attending the games, specifically the Mingle game where they are spinning around on the carousel platform. For this, the Gacha character either looks depressed and zoning out (showing a sign that they regret taking the invite) or happy and joyful, usually dancing that is similar to the popular dance of the game featuring the series characters Thanos and Namgyu. The trend is fun to show others that you are a fan of the Squid Game fandom and allows you to edit with cleaner details.

Fukouna Girl
tutorial by: _Otto.Sinkzz_This is a trend based on an already existing non-gacha trend on TikTok that uses the original song "Fukouna Girl" by stomach book. The context is that the character would be playing around with a color wheel and as the song reaches its climax, the colors of the Gacha character would change as the color wheel spins around. Usually, the Gacha oc would be either wearing the wheel on top of their head as a halo, on their waist like a hula hoop, or they would be standing/sitting on the wheel like it was a floating gymnastics prop. This is a great example of gachatuber who wish to play around more with their color palette and edit their gacha characters with more detail.

Come pick my roses
example by: Mitsuki._.officiallThis trend is a simple gimmick that the gacha community made up themselves where one of the Gacha characters is holding a rose in front of a line of other characters (usually the person's friends and/or family, or other gacha tubers). Then, one by one, they would walk up to each character in line and do an action of love or hate, such as hugging, kissing on the cheek, giving the rose they're holding, slapping, or just completely ignore the character. It is a fun opinion or oc story logic that shows viewers how their character feels about others depending on the gachatuber's lore presented. The trend is a fun way to introduce your original characters and how they react to each other.

Creator Vs. Oc
example by: helena._.official16Depending on the gachatuber, this trend can be played out in many ways. However, the main concept of this is that a gacha character who is mainly the online version of whoever made it would go against another gacha character who is supposed to resemble and represent the real life version of the character, aka the "Creator". Then, they would either physically battle using special powers (depending on the gachatuber's story and channel concept) or verbal battle through arguing dialogues. Unlike most trends, there isn't a specific way to make the battle, which leads to many unique versions of this trend, and generally it's a great video to make if you want to express your own ideas on this battle.

Lockjaw
tutorial by: ak1t0kiUsing the audio of "Lockjaw" by Sir-Mix-A-Lot, this is one of the simplest and most random trends where two gacha character would be together and one of them would be either making fun of the other for not being about to do split or trying to do a split themselves but showing struggle. Once the song beat hits, that other gacha character would shut up the other and somehow ends up doing a full split, showing off by smirking or pouting at them. There is not much logic to this trend, but it had a lot of popularity mainly because of the unique animation and editing styles each creator does with this trend to make it look more detailed, smooth, clean, etc. The trend is really easy and great for those who are beginners or wish to not put too much effort into a video.
